Mental health took center stage on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and we are here for all of the honest discussions about PTSD, su*cide, and grief. In other news, Garcelle’s love for her boys is as pure as their indifference to her lasagne. Kyle seems to have officially replaced one Mau(ricio) with another Mo(rgan). And we need more beta-blocked Blane, and no more massively-off-the-mark Anne Marie! The ladies’ attempts at comedy resulted in drama. Rob’s steak tasting resulted in unwelcome ASMR. And Dorit resulted in all things awful. S1E29: RHOBH - Eight (and a half) Is (not) Enough!

Maybe it’s the imminence of the holidays? Maybe it’s the charged relationship dynamics between the women of Beverly Hills? Whatever it is, something about this week's RHOBH stirred up a LOT in Ramona & Margee. They’ve had it with everyone putting on a show to try to disguise the truth. Stop trying to make us believe your marriage is unbroken, Kyle, or that 16 ounces of vodka is a reasonable mid-morning snack, Sutton. Stop trying to sell us on your husband finding you unimpressive in every way is great news, Annemarie, or that you deserve a Vegas residency more than victims deserve to be compensated, Erika. And for the love of god, stop including scenes that are 90% people ordering meat and specifying cooking temperatures, editors! It’s time to grab yourself a bowl of Frosted Flakes (dry or with whole milk), chew in a way that is mindful of the size of your throat’s butthole, and tune in to this week’s A Therapeutic Dose!

S1E28: RHOBH - Upstairs/Downstairs & Upside Down

What a week for our Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! Denise finds herself in the Upside Down… jacket. Sutton chews the scenery as she smokes a joint. And Kyle smugly jogs and stretches and like ohmygod okay we get it you’re fit now, Kyle. Congratulations and shut up.

On RHOBH, Kyle is officially a 54-year-old 14-year-old as she gets her 6th (and stupidest?) tattoo; Mauricio’s book debut was - figuratively and literally - overshadowed by his teeth; and we learn that Erika’s apology was probably just a PR stunt! Meanwhile, Garcelle continues to win the season! And Denise’s takes to camera were the life of the party. But the episode really centers around the Sutton/Kyle conflict, which winds up being the perfect blank screen for Ramona & Margee to project their respective psychic damage upon. S1E26: RHOBH - The Magic Mike Butt-erfly Effect

Between Erika’s sparkly hat-fringe, Garcelle’s burnout pants, and Dorit’s chain link cuffs, we forgot all about Sutton’s stupid pants! But nobody else did. For the Beverly Hills housewives, it seems a 90-minute, semi-nude, male review might actually end friendships. Meanwhile, Sutton and Garcelle ride a gondola, everyone wants Kyle back OFF the wagon, and Crystal is the most forgettable part of Crystal’s birthday trip. On RHOBH, Crystal’s 40th became all about Sutton Strake’s slacks, and Ramona & Margee find themselves on opposing sides of the great pants debate. In other news, Kyle’s a pest, Dorit’s defensive, they’re both in the wrong and, to paraphrase Garcelle, we don’t care if they burn! S1E23: RHOBH - Crystal Light

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere was notably light on Crystal, while hard-launching Ozempic as the season’s breakout “friend of.” The episode opened by introducing us to an only-in-Beverly-Hills menagerie of characters including Eagle Woman, Nancy Raven, and Santos The Horse from the Netherlands. Never a dull moment in the 90210! And Ramona & Margee are delighted to dig in. Erika’s therapy is not working. Neither are Kyle or Dorit’s marriages. Garcelle and Sutton expose that there is no good, right, or easy answer to the vexed question of is it better to be a working mom or a stay-at-home mom.
